Bullhorn

Bullhorn is a method of surgical tightening of the upper lip by reducing the distance between the border of the lips and the base of the nose.

Bullhorn is a short and minimally traumatic plastic surgery that can be performed on an outpatient basis, so there is no need to hospitalize the patient.

With age, a person loses skin turgor, it withers and becomes less elastic. Facial wrinkles, puffiness, and dark circles appear in the periorbital area due to metabolic disorders at the cellular level.

Indications for Bullhorn plastic surgery:
  • ptosis of the upper lip;
  • lip asymmetry;
  • insufficient volume of the upper lip;

Contraindications for Bullhorn plastic surgery:
  • chronic diseases at the stage of exacerbation;
  • diabetes;
  • autoimmune diseases;
  • pregnancy and lactation;
  • blood coagulation disorders;
  • tendency to the formation of hypertrophic or keloid scars;
  • oncological disease.
Rehabilitation period:

It takes a little more than 2 weeks, causes a minimum of discomfort. Lip plastic surgery can be combined with other surgical corrections of the face – blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, face lifting to achieve a more pronounced aesthetic and rejuvenating effect.
